Dear Members,
Your committee has decided to break from the traditional golf days or bird shoots and has elected instead to have a party for everyone this year. We are going to Dance in the Street, a musical variety show hosted by the Boksburg Barnyard Theatre, Fun for everyone, prizes for everyone. Please diarise 22nd June 2012 at 8 pm but more importantly, we need you to start selling tickets and tables NOW. Booking details below. We need you to invite your family, friends to join what promises to be a wonderful evening of fun and laughter, trips down memory lane with fantastic prizes suited for everyone (not just the fishing fraternity). A bottle of Johnny Blue goes to the club member that sells the most tickets.
As with any club or organisation there needs to be a plan for the future. In order to achieve that succession plan the club needs new members and of course the financial backing to, amongst other things, develop those new members and encourage the existing members to learn and perform. This year’s fund raiser will hopefully reflect this goal by attracting young and old anglers of both sexes. To succeed we need you, the members, the life blood of this great club, to help your committee achieve its goals and in so doing to maintain the high standards of angling and competitiveness that Nomads has enjoyed for so many years. All we ask is that each member fill one table of family, friends and hopefully prospective new members. Table sizes are 8 to 12 seaters (see ground floor seating plan) and balcony seats are in rows see first and second floor seating plan). To get your preferred seats we urge you to book early to avoid disappointment.
Tickets are being sold at R200 per person and include: Entry to the show, one platter of snacks per table, PLUS 2 (two) entries into the lucky draw for which we have secured fantastic prizes suitable to everyone. Being fishermen, we also have gift vouchers and tackle hampers from your favourite tackle shops and much more. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the door.
Folks this is your club and it needs your support to ensure a bright future. Please support us.
Thank you
Leon Nel
