2018 Mapelane Tacklebox

We are hosting a tackle box at Mark Cockcroft’s house at 10am 12 May 2018 in preparation for the Mapelane interclub. This invitation is open to all anglers who wish to attend and who may not be fishing the comp. It is also an open invitation to our Protea and senior anglers who would like to attend and assist our developing anglers. Refreshments and boerie rolls will be available.

2017 Back to Basics Development course

This is an invitation to all our members to attend a back to basics development course where we will be demonstrating basic knots and compliance with IGFA rules in respect of leaders etc.

Boerie rolls , cool drinks and beer will be available.

The development will suit new members, those members who have forgotten how to tie knots, those members who don’t know how to tie knots, those members who have forgotten their IGFA rules and those members who just want to eat Boerie rolls and drink beer. All are welcome.

2016 Back to Basics Development

Dear Members.

A back to basics development course has been arranged for all those interested.

Date:  27th August 2016
Time: 13h00pm
Venue: 1 Klopper Avenue Libradene Boksburg.  

This is a development aimed at junior anglers and those anglers who want to refresh their knot tying and general angling skills.  

It is conducted on an informal basis where you are invited to bring your favorite lures and discuss how best to catch that elusive species you have been chasing.

2016 Winter Development

Dear Members,

Nomads in conjunction with Boating and Caravan Nigel and Suzuki South Africa is conducting a practical workshop on 2 and 4 stroke outboards at the Club House at 10 am on Saturday 17th September 2016.

The workshop shall be for two hours and will be an in-depth presentation on  2 and 4 stroke maintenance with an emphasis on trouble shooting.

Booking is essential as this workshop is limited to 20.
