CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

Nominations are hereby called for a three or four person team to represent South Africa (Protea colours) at the 55^TH HAWAIIAN BILLFISH TOURNAMENT to be held at Kona Hawaii between 26th July and 2nd August 2014.

This is heavy tackle marlin competition and is fished on 24 & 37Kg line.

We have yet to be informed of the Entry fee but it is likely to be around US$2500 per person, which excluded accommodation and airfares.

Nominations are hereby called for a three person team to represent South Africa (Protea colours) at the 60^TH (DIAMOND JUBILEE) BILLFISH INTERNATIONAL, PUERTO RICO to be held between 15th and 21st September 2014.

This is a medium marlin tournament and is fished on 15 and 24Kg line.

The organisers are particularly keen for us to send a team this year as it is their diamond Jubilee and we have been unable to send a team in the recent past.

The Entry fee is US$1850 per person, but they have offered us a special that we only have to pay for two anglers for a team of three as long as the monies are paid before 31st July 2014. Whilst we realise this is still a lot of money in Rand it is probably as cheap as you are ever going to get for a tournament in the Caribbean. The Entry fee will exclude accommodation and airfares.
